Writer in Residence -- Memoir Writing Workshop with Alejandra Campoverdi In-Person
Join us for a memoir writing workshop with our 2025 Writer in Residence Alejandra Campoverdi!
In her national bestselling book, First Gen, Alejandra explores themes of belonging, inheritance, and identity. She writes "I'd absorbed the lesson that revealing something vulnerable to others could lead to a sort of mutual alchemy." In this intimate workshop, Alejandra will lead participants in an exploration of how to craft stories that are both deeply personal yet universally relatable to readers of all backgrounds. The workshop will include a guided discussion, writing prompt, and optional sharing. Lunch will be provided.
